Job Responsibilities

• Develops strategy and tactics for the ongoing use of technology in the library environment.
• Plans and coordinates purchase of new equipment, computers, specialized peripherals for library.
• Serves as an active Library Integrated System (Alma and Primo) Administrator.
• Appraises current systems, their capabilities, and how the library can react to new features and options both within and between existing platforms.
• Assist in coordinating and compiling research and metrics related to specific library requirements in addition to comparative data for peers.
• Campus liaison with campus technology units.
• Participation in UW System Shared Services governance and working groups.
• Serves as primary technical contact for the Libraries Web environment.
