This year\u2019s keynote speaker is\u00a0Bench Ansfield<\/strong>\u00a0(Assistant Professor of History, Temple University and an urban historian of racial capitalism), author of\u00a0Born in Flames: The Business of Arson and the Remaking of the American City<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(W. W. Norton, 2025).<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event also includes a juried senior capstone and graduate\u00a0student\u00a0poster session following a buffet lunch, a USP alumni panel where students can hear from and connect with practitioners working in Milwaukee across a variety of fields in the public and private sector, an awards ceremony, and a reception following the keynote presentation.<\/p>\n
