Iranian director and women’s rights activist Mahnaz Mohammadi’s 2019 film Son-Mother<\/em> depicts Leila, a single working mom of two who loses her factory job. Filmmaker Mahnaz Mohammadi is an Iranian filmmaker and women’s rights activist.
