Please make sure the major you are interested in is within L&amp;S as we cannot address other majors. At this session, we will review the L&amp;S major(s) that you are interested in, providing information about its requirements, job outcomes, research and internship opportunities, and next steps towards enrolling in the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">\n<p class=\"size-p-md\"><strong>These appointments are&nbsp;NOT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>for currently enrolled 51ÁÔÆæ students looking to change their major<\/strong> (Contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ls-advising@uwm.edu\">ls-advising@uwm.edu<\/a>&nbsp;instead.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>for students who have been recently admitted and have an assigned advisor <\/strong>(Use your PAWS account to complete your orientation and sign up to meet your academic advisor, or contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:undergraduateadmissions@uwm.edu\">undergraduateadmissions@uwm.edu<\/a>&nbsp;for assistance.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>On Thursdays<\/strong>, campus tours are available at 11:00 am or 2:00 pm, and the Letters &amp; Science info sessions are at 12:30 p.m., so you can attend either an info session after a morning tour or before an afternoon tour. To register for a campus tour and information session,<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/undergrad-admission\/visit\/\">&nbsp;visit the&nbsp;Admissions Office Tour page<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>On Fridays<\/strong>, campus tours are available at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm, and the Letters &amp; Science info sessions are at 11:30 am, so you can attend either an info session after a morning tour or before an afternoon tour. <strong>To register for a campus tour and <\/strong><span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\"><strong>information session,<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/undergrad-admission\/visit\/\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">visit<\/span> the&nbsp;Admissions Office Tour page<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Not interested in visiting campus in person at this time, or can\u2019t make one of these times?<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/letters-science\/students\/future-undergraduate-students\/request-admissions-counseling\/\">Schedule a one-to-one appointment instead<\/a>. Appointments are available in virtual or in-person formats at various times Monday through Friday.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If you are a transfer student<\/strong> and would like to discuss your past credits, <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/letters-science\/students\/future-undergraduate-students\/request-admissions-counseling\/\">please schedule your appointment<\/a> <strong>no sooner than seven business days<\/strong> <strong>from now <\/strong>so that we have time to review your information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"uwm-c-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>Day<\/th><th>Campus Tour<\/th><th>L&amp;S Information Session<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Thursday<\/td><td>9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.<\/td><td>12:30 p.m.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Friday<\/td><td>11:00 am or 2:00 p.m.<\/td><td>11:30 a.m.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Regularly scheduled tours and information sessions<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Campus tours are available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well, but we do not have info sessions on those days for College of Letters &amp; Science majors. <strong>Instead, schedule a <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/letters-science\/students\/future-undergraduate-students\/request-admissions-counseling\/\">one-to-one appointment<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You can request Spanish translation services for our in-person, virtual or phone admissions appointments. For the best experience, we recommend registering for your accommodation at least two (2) business days before your one-on-one meeting. To request this service, please check &#8220;Spanish&#8221; as the preferred language for your meeting when completing the registration form.
