Once your declaration form is filed, you will schedule regular and as needed advising sessions with the LACUSL Academic Programs Coordinator and Advisor to check-in on your progress and for assistance with course selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a1\">Declaration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To begin the process of declaring the&nbsp;LACUSL Major, you may fill out and submit the declaration form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-u-flex uwm-u-flex--wrap uwm-u-flex--left\">\n<a class=\"uwm-c-button uwm-u-mr-20 uwm-u-mb-20\" href=\"https:\/\/ls-apps.ad.uwm.edu\/secure\/declaration\/major\/prod\/index.php?departmentFilter=latin-american-caribbean-us-latina-studies\" rel=\"\">Declaration of Major<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You will then need to contact Natasha Borges Sugiyama (<a href=\"mailto:sugiyamn@uwm.edu\">sugiyamn@uwm.edu<\/a>) to set up an advising meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together you will review your current transcript for courses you have completed as well as classes you may still need.
