The College of Community Engagement & Professions (CCEP) invites all eligible School of Information Studies (SOIS), School of Education (SOE), and Helen Bader School of Social Welfare (HBSSW) Spring & Summer graduates and their guests to the Spring 2024 Recognition Ceremony. We will celebrate your achievements and honor all graduates, new Beta Phi Mu nominees, and School Librarianship Certificate recipients.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

SOIS Beta Rho Chapter of Beta Phi Mu (\u0392\u03a6\u039c): Founded in 1948 at the University of Illinois, Beta Phi Mu is the International Library & Information Studies Honor Society for library and information science professionals. Its significance was recognized in 1968 when it was formally admitted to membership in the Association of College Honor Societies.\u00a0 Membership in Beta Phi Mu is by invitation only and is based on the recognition of high-quality performance in work undertaken for the professional degree.
