The School of Information Studies, School of Education and Helen Bader School of Social Welfare invite all eligible Fall graduates and their guests to the Fall 2023 Recognition Ceremony where we will celebrate your achievements and honor all SOIS graduates, new Beta Phi Mu nominees, and School Librarianship Certificate recipients.<\/p>\r\n

SOIS Beta Rho Chapter of Beta Phi Mu (\u0392\u03a6\u039c):\u00a0Founded in 1948 at the University of Illinois, Beta Phi Mu is the International Library & Information Studies Honor Society for library and information science professionals. Its significance was recognized in 1968 when it was formally admitted to membership in the Association of College Honor Societies.\u00a0 Membership in Beta Phi Mu is by invitation only and is based on the recognition of high-quality performance in work undertaken for the professional degree. Fall 2023 51ÁÔÆæ Commencement Ceremony<\/b> Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony is for all Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Candidates (The ceremony is approximately 2 hours long) UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena<\/a>: 400 W. Kilbourn Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203 NOTE:<\/strong> Each eligible graduate MUST RSVP<\/strong> by 10\/31\/23 in order to obtain tickets for their guests to attend the commencement ceremony at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.<\/p>\r\n
