SOIS alumnus Shengang Wang, Assistant Professor at the School of Library and Information Science at Simmons University, collaborated with SOIS Assistant Professor Wan-Chen Lee and Doctoral Candidate Ning-Chiao Wang to publish a new open access journal article.
The research article, titled “Methodological and ethical considerations in LGBTQ-focused online ethnographic research: A systematic review and a human-centered framework,β was published earlier this year. It examines prior scholarly research on LGBTQ communities in online spaces, highlighting areas for improving the quality and impact of future research.
