Microsoft 365 is a powerful document management and collaboration platform. In addition to email and calendar, Microsoft 365 has document storage and collaboration utilities, video conferencing software, and business intelligence platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students, faculty and staff with an active Microsoft 365 account may install Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, Word, OneDrive Sync, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher and Access (Windows only). Copilot Chat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat is a content-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant available to all 51ÁÔÆæ students and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access Copilot Chat directly through Microsoft 365 on the web. Accessing Copilot Chat in this way is the university supported and safe way to utilize the tool. Look for the green shield in the upper right corner \u2013 this means enterprise data protection is applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sensitivity Labels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft 365 uses sensitivity labels to ensure that restricted and confidential information stored in the system can only be shared to 51ÁÔÆæ users or guest users. Sensitivity labels allow classification of files, emails and SharePoint sites with sensitive information as either Sensitive<\/strong> or Restricted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
