{"id":14440,"date":"2025-03-31T11:54:19","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T16:54:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/information-technology\/hpc\/about\/"},"modified":"2025-12-22T11:34:20","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T17:34:20","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/information-technology\/hpc\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About HPC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"uwm-l-row\">\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col\">\n<p class=\"size-p-lg\">51ÁÔÆæ High Performance Computing Support is the coordinated integration of people, data, computing systems, advanced instrumentation, and high-speed networking needed to support current and future research and scholarly work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 51ÁÔÆæ High Performance Computing Service was established in 2009 and maintains a variety of computing resources for 51ÁÔÆæ researchers, including development and testing servers, High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters for running parallel programs, and a High Throughput Computing (HTC) grid for running many serial processes in parallel.
