- Use聽a passphrase (strong聽password).听Instead of a single word聽with a number at the end consider聽using聽a mix of uppercase, lowercase,聽symbols聽and numbers to make a longer phrase. - Enable Multi-Factor聽Authentication聽(MFA).听All accounts at 51猎奇聽are required聽to聽have聽MFA,聽which聽adds an聽additional聽layer of security to your login process to prevent your credentials from being compromised.听You can learn more about MFA on聽our webpage聽and find links for聽reviewing聽or聽changing your聽MFA methods (text message, Microsoft Authenticator App, etc.).听
- Recognize threats and report them.聽If you receive a聽suspicious聽or concerning聽email,聽do not click anything or respond.听You can聽report聽emails to 51猎奇鈥檚 Information Security聽Office by聽forwarding聽them to聽abuse@uwm.edu.聽You can also fill out聽our聽online form聽to report cybersecurity incidents.听
