Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to eligibility criteria outlined in the 51ÁÔÆæ Pay Plan Policy, criteria specific to the 2025-2027 pay plan is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If an employee is in active pay status on the implementation date, they should receive the Fiscal Year 2026 pay plan increment if in a pay plan eligible position and other eligibility criteria are met.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The effective date of the Fiscal Year 2027 Pay Plan increment will be available at a later date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading default\" id=\"h-2-pay-plan-distribution-guidelines\">2. Pay Plan Distribution Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pay Plan will include general wage increases as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 3% wage increase will be provided in Fiscal Year 2026, effective June 29, 2025.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For eligible 12-month and hourly employees, the base adjustment will be implemented on August 10, 2025. Payment will be realized on the September 4, 2025 paycheck, along with a one-time payment covering the increase from June 29 to August 9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For 9-month (academic year) employees, the adjustment will be implemented on August 25, 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 2% wage increase will be provided in Fiscal Year 2027. Details on pay dates will be available in Spring 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading default\" id=\"h-3-chancellor-s-discretionary-adjustment\">3. Chancellor\u2019s Discretionary Adjustment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>UW System Administrative Policy 1278 authorizes Chancellors to earmark up to 15% of the total pay plan each year for the Chancellor\u2019s discretionary use to meet special compensation needs. The Chancellor\u2019s Discretionary Adjustment will not be implemented for the 2025-2027 pay plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay plan does not prohibit colleges and divisions from providing other compensation adjustments to employees based on Department of Human Resources policies for merit and non-merit adjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading default\" id=\"h-4-pay-plan-distribution-date\">4. Pay Plan Distribution Date<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Distribution dates for pay plan adjustments can be found on the Universities of Wisconsin\u2019s Pay Plan Frequently Asked Questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading default\" id=\"h-5-graduate-assistants\">5. Graduate Assistants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduate assistants are not eligible for pay plan. Stipend rates for graduate assistants are set annually and are available in the Graduate Assistant Handbook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading default\" id=\"h-6-questions\">6. Questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please refer to the Universities of Wisconsin\u2019s Pay Plan Frequently Asked Questions.
