The U.S. Postal Service<\/a> delivers mail to Cambridge Commons<\/strong>, Kenilworth Square Apartments<\/strong>, RiverView Residence Hall<\/strong>, and Sandburg Halls<\/strong> Monday \u2013 Saturday except for legal holidays<\/a>. Mail is sorted by mailroom staff and placed into residents\u2019 mailboxes.Each resident is assigned a personal mailbox secured by either a combination or keyed lock. Mailbox numbers will not correlate<\/em> to a resident\u2019s suite number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Correct Name On Packages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Residents ordering packages should include both their first and last name as they appear on their campus ID <\/em><\/strong>and their mailbox number in their delivery address to ensure timely and accurate check-in by mailroom staff. Package check-in may be delayed or package may be returned to sender for students receiving packages to names other than their name on file with 51ÁÔÆæ, as additional research is needed to confirm the correct recipient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students wishing to update their name on file with 51ÁÔÆæ should do so by following 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s campus instructions<\/a>. Students should also have their campus ID updated at the PantherCard Office<\/a> in the 51ÁÔÆæ Union to reflect their current name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Locating Your Campus Mailbox Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Login to your Housing Portal<\/a> to view your University Housing Campus Mailbox information<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Package Deliveries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Packages can be retrieved by Residence Hall residents when presenting their campus ID, or a photo ID that includes their name, to a staff member in their building\u2019s mailroom from 1-8pm Monday through Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenilworth residents<\/strong> can retrieve their packages from the Service Desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents should look for a notification from our package management system (pictured below) in their 51ÁÔÆæ inbox to ensure the package is checked into their residential mailroom and available for retrieval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food Deliveries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Service Desk DOES NOT<\/strong> accept food deliveries or other packages. If receiving perishable food items, work with the carrier to have them leave take-out or grocery deliveries on the designated delivery table at your University Housing Facility. It is essential that food items be picked up from the delivery table within 24 hours or they will be discarded or donated. Food deliveries (meal and grocery) sent to the residential mailrooms are not guaranteed refrigeration. University Housing is not responsible for lost or stolen deliveries left at designated delivery tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missing Packages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are missing a package, please file a claim through the form below. Package claims will be submitted to the mailroom immediately upon form submission, and a response provided within 1-2 business days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mail Forwarding\/Return-to-Sender<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students who are vacating or no longer living in University Housing should update their forwarding address in PAWS<\/a> and also remove their 51ÁÔÆæ address from all online order accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Log into your PAWS<\/a> account with your ePanther ID and password. If you have forgotten your password to your ePanther ID, follow the necessary steps to set a new password here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. From the main page, scroll down to \u201cPersonal Information.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Select \u201cOther Profile Applications,\u201d then select \u201cAddresses\u201d from the drop-down menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Select \u201cMail\u201d address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Using the pencil icon, update your mailing address to the address which you would like mail forwarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*REMINDER*<\/strong><\/em>
Only letter mail and packages sent via USPS can be forwarded. Items from other carriers (Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc.) will be returned to sender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If mail delivers for a student who no longer lives in University Housing, mailroom staff will look for a forwarding address in the student\u2019s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United States forwarding address on file
<\/strong>USPS Priority, Parcel, and First Class mail pieces will be forwarded to the domestic forwarding address in the student\u2019s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forwarding services unavailable<\/strong>
When packages are not able to be forwarded, they will be returned to sender. Carriers do not provide forwarding services to international addresses. USPS Presorted Standard and Non-Profit classes, Amazon Logistics, FedEx and UPS do not have forwarding services available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Packages shipped by Amazon Logistics which cannot be delivered to a current housing resident will be returned to sender. Amazon\u2019s policy is the order recipient must request a replacement item at their current address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

51ÁÔÆæ mailroom staff do not receive updated tracking information for forwarded or returned packages. Order recipients must contact their carrier for updated tracking information. To follow up with mailroom staff regarding your package, please email housing-mailroom@uwm.edu<\/a> with your package\u2019s carrier tracking number and delivery date. Sending the mailroom screenshots of your carrier tracking number and delivery confirmation is the best and fastest way to receive the most accurate information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C.O.D. Deliveries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Collect On Delivery (C.O.D.) items are not accepted by the Service Desk. All postage must be paid for in advance by the sender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where to Buy Stamps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
