A number of resources in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area offer options for affordable housing, including housing catered to seniors, families, veterans, and persons with disabilities. Below are websites and information to assist with low income and affordable housing needs, as well as applicable programs and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Search for Affordable Housing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The US Department of Housing and Urban Development<\/a>\u00a0provides more information, including a\u00a0search for subsidized apartments<\/a>\u00a0in your area. Further advice and information specific to personal needs can be found at the bottom of the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, Volunteers of America<\/a> provides another search for affordable housing in your location. Learn more about their housing types for seniors, families, veterans, and persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Community Advocates<\/strong><\/a> offers more than 40 programs, providing services and assistance to Milwaukee citizens. Programs to look into include: Rental Assistance<\/a> and Energy Assistance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
