We help neighbors with a wide range of questions relating to:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Student behavior and safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local construction updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General university initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to direct support, we share 51ÁÔÆæ event information through local neighborhood associations. Our representatives also regularly attend area meetings to provide project updates and answer your questions, ensuring we remain transparent and actively involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-u-flex uwm-u-flex--wrap uwm-u-flex--left\">\n<a class=\"uwm-c-button uwm-u-mr-20 uwm-u-mb-20\" href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/governmentrelations\/neighborhood-relations\/\" rel=\"\">51ÁÔÆæ Neighborhood Relations<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-neighborhood-associations\">Neighborhood Associations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ad2f72ca wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>Join a neighborhood association to stay informed and engaged. These groups bring people together to talk about local issues and events that affect your home. Explore some neighborhood associations below!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card-grid uwm-l-grid uwm-l-grid--equal-y uwm-l-grid--3\">\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hwtn.org\/\">Historic Water Tower<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\"><strong>Located east of campus along Lake Michigan.<\/strong> This area is full of history and beautiful old homes.<br><br><strong>Meetings:<\/strong> 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm.<br><strong>Location:<\/strong> Marcia Coles Community Room (No meetings in July, August, or December).<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambridgewoods.net\/\">Cambridge Woods<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\"><strong>Stretching from Locust St. to Edgewood Ave. along the Milwaukee River.<\/strong> Located just west of campus, this area has a mix of students, young professionals, and long-term residents.<br><br><strong>Meetings:<\/strong> 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.<br><strong>Location:<\/strong> Urban Ecology Center (Park Pl.).<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\">Greenwich Village<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\"><strong>A bustling neighborhood south of campus.<\/strong> Because of its proximity to North Ave., Greenwich Village is always buzzing with activity and features a wide variety of local businesses.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rnaboard\/\">Riverwest<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\"><strong>One of the largest associations in the area.<\/strong> Situated just west of the Milwaukee River and 51ÁÔÆæ, Riverwest is home to a vibrant, steadily growing community.<br><br><strong>Meetings:<\/strong> 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.<br><strong>Location:<\/strong> Gordon Park Pavilion.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"http:\/\/murrayhillna.org\/\">Murray Hill<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\"><strong>Bounded by Oakland, Downer, Bradford, and Hartford Avenues.<\/strong> This vibrant neighborhood just south of campus has many architecturally distinctive homes and a diverse population of residents and business owners.<br><br><strong>Meetings:<\/strong> 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.<br><strong>Location:<\/strong> Urban Ecology Center (Park Pl.).<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a1\">Buy Nothing Neighborhood Facebook Groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to give away items or find things for free? Join a Buy Nothing Facebook group.
