Recognizing Milwaukee-area landlords who demonstrate a clear commitment to environmentally responsible living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Green Neighbor Landlord Designation<\/strong> is a new initiative from the 51ÁÔÆæ Off-Campus Resource Center (OCRC). We created this program to recognize Milwaukee-area landlords who prioritize eco-friendly housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To qualify, landlords must meet at least five sustainability standards. These include common features like LED lighting, recycling services, and Energy Star appliances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond these physical requirements, participating landlords commit to a two-year certification cycle. During this time, they agree to maintain green features and teach tenants about sustainable habits. Consequently, landlords can stand out in the market and meet the growing student demand for “green” living.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

To earn the Green Neighbor badge, you must meet five (5) of the criteria listed below. Please provide documentation to confirm these features. However, if your property has unique green features not listed here, please contact the OCRC. We are happy to review your specific programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
