At the beginning of each academic year, we place a freeze on room changes while we get everyone settled. This freeze last approximately 3 weeks into the Fall semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The&nbsp;<em>Room Freeze<\/em>&nbsp;will be lifted on&nbsp;<strong>September 15<\/strong>. The request form will open on&nbsp;<strong>Sunday, September 14<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the freeze, please focus on completing your&nbsp;<strong>Roommate\/Suitemate Agreement<\/strong>&nbsp;and building connections with your living group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Working with Your Roommates<\/strong><br>Take time to talk with your roommates\/suitemates in person about expectations for your shared space. You don\u2019t have to be best friends, but it\u2019s important to keep communication open and respectful. Finding common ground\u2014and learning from your differences\u2014is part of the college experience and an opportunity to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Room Change Requests<\/strong><br>Submitting a room change request form does not guarantee an immediate change. Residence Life staff will review all requests along with current housing availability.
