Kilbourn Ave., starting at <strong>7:30 a.m.<\/strong>  for the 9 a.m. ceremony and <strong>12:30 p.m.<\/strong> for the 2 p.m. ceremony (Fourth St., between State and Kilbourn) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When you arrive at the bachelor\u2019s check-in area, make sure you complete a <strong>name card\/photo&nbsp;card <\/strong>and&nbsp;pick up a<strong> printed program<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The marshals will inform you where your school\/college is seated. Please report to your school\/college section to be seated immediately by the marshals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s tassels are to be worn on the right side of the cap.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photographers will be taking pictures of candidates as they approach the ramp to go on stage, as well as while they receive their diploma cover on stage. The photographers will be distributing a contact photo card to students at the arena. Please be sure to complete a contact photo card; it will be used to contact you once your proofs are ready to view and purchase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No alcoholic beverages or helium balloons are permitted in the arena.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-u-flex uwm-u-flex--wrap uwm-u-flex--left\">\n<button class=\"uwm-p-modal--launch uwm-c-button uwm-u-mr-20 uwm-u-mb-20\" aria-controls=\"uwm-modal-security-details\" data-modal-prefix-class=\"uwm-p\" data-modal-content-id=\"uwm-modal-security-details\" data-modal-close-text=\"Close\" data-modal-close-title=\"Close\">Security Details<\/button>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conferring-of-degrees\">Conferring of Degrees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Listen for directions from your respective deans for instructions on when to rise and be seated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s candidates will get directions for rising after their degrees are conferred. They will move by complete rows to the side aisles and walk in single file to the stage. Candidates will give their name card to the reader at the top of the ramp and proceed to the center of the stage to receive their diploma cover. Candidates will then return to their seats using the center aisle. Please be seated after returning from the stage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are expected to remain for the entire ceremony out of courtesy for all graduates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recessional\">Recessional<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform party will lead the recessional, followed by the faculty and graduates. Disruptions will not be tolerated. Participants who engage in disruption risk arrest, and\/or criminal charges and student disciplinary action. Graduates are asked to pass through security with their graduation gowns unzipped and open as part of the Wisconsin Center District security screening process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h4 uwm-u-mb-0 uwm-c-link--dark\" id=\"h-bag-policy-at-uwm-panther-arena\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwmilwaukeepantherarena.com\/events-tickets\/bag-policy\/\">Bag Policy at 51ÁÔÆæ Panther Arena<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"uwm-u-mt-10\">Graduates and guests attending public ticketed events are permitted to bring a 12-inch-by-6-inch-by-12-inch or smaller clear stadium bag, gallon-sized clear zip bag, a 4-inch-by-6-inch-by-1-inch wristlet, or a diaper bag or medical bag, which will be searched. <strong>This will be strictly enforced<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h4 uwm-u-mb-0 uwm-c-link--dark\" id=\"h-prohibited-items-at-panther-arena\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwmilwaukeepantherarena.com\/before-you-go\/\">Prohibited Items at Panther Arena<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"uwm-u-mt-10\">A list of prohibited items can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwmilwaukeepantherarena.com\/before-you-go\/\">A-Z guide of the Panther Arena website.<\/a> Guests will be asked to return prohibited items to their vehicles.
