Education in the responsible and ethical conduct of research is essential in the preparation of future scientists and engineers. 51ÁÔÆæ encourages all faculty, staff, and students to complete RCR training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of RCR training is to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Develop, foster, and maintain a culture of integrity in research<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Discourage and prevent unethical conduct<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Increase knowledge about the regulations, policies, statutes, and guidelines that govern the responsible conduct of research<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RCR training subject matter includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Research ethics and integrity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Conflicts of interest and\/or commitment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Authorship and Mentorship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Appropriate use of grant funds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Research Misconduct<\/p>\n\n\n\n
