51ÁÔÆæ Geosciences students find rewarding, in-demand careers solving problems faced by our communities and answering questions about how the Earth works. Our students gain highly interdisciplinary skills that can be applied to real-world problems. These include identifying, managing, and responsibly extracting water, energy, and mineral resources; managing public lands to serve diverse needs; preparing our communities for natural disasters and environmental and climate change; and helping the public and private sectors grow in safe and responsible ways.
