This comprehensive volume continues to explore the intricate relationships between climate, ecosystems, and phenological events, offering valuable insights for researchers and students alike. Congratulations to Dr. Schwartz on this significant achievement!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, his co-authored article, \u201cBuilding spring development indices for woody species in the conterminous United States,\u201d with Dr. Alison Donnelly (Professor of Geography), has been published in the journal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0168192325000632\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Agricultural and Forest Methodology<\/em><\/a>. This study introduces a novel suite of phenological indices to better characterize the timing of plant activity throughout the spring
