Kristin Sziarto<\/strong> (Geography), Anna Mansson McGinty<\/strong> (Geography and Women’s and Gender Studies), and Caroline Seymour-Jorn<\/strong> (French, Italian, and Comparative Literature) are among the first group of recipients of awards in the Center for 21st Century Studies’ new C21 Collaboratory<\/a> initiative, which offers grants for interdisciplinary research collaborations among 51ÁÔÆæ faculty, students, staff, and members of the community. <\/p>\n

Sziarto, Mansson McGinty, and Seymour-Jorn have since 2010 collaborated with Muslim community members on the Muslim Milwaukee Project. Their Collaboratory award of $1350 will be used to develop a network of scholars with related research agendas from around the Milwaukee area, and continue the focus group phase of their project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
