From day one, you\u2019ll do more than get your feet wet. Join a community of students and scientists. Together, we use science to tackle global freshwater challenges. You\u2019ll learn in small classes led by top experts. This program offers a strong foundation and hands-on experience. You can choose specialized tracks in aquatic science or water policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll have access to state-of-the-art labs and equipment, a genomics center, and research vessels on the Great Lakes and Milwaukee\u2019s three urban rivers. Work directly with faculty, conduct undergraduate research, and collaborate with regional stakeholders to address pressing freshwater issues. Opportunities extend beyond our campus through the Freshwater Collaborative of Wisconsin<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, a systemwide partnership that connects you with internships, research projects, and fieldwork across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
