SUMMARY:School of Freshwater Sciences Open House at Harbor Fest 2024
DESCRIPTION:The School of Freshwater Sciences will host an open house during Harbor Fest on Sunday\, September 29\, from 11am-3pm. \nHarbor Fest\, in its ninth year\, brings more than 5\,000 people to Harbor Plaza and Greenfield Avenue for a free\, family-friendly celebration of all things fish\, water and boats! There are things happening all day: free boat tours of the river and Lake Michigan\, live music\, great local food\, and more! In partnership with other nonprofits there are also fun things happening – Riveredge Nature Center has a baby sturgeon release called Sturgeon Fest\, there will be a STEM Stage for kids\, and 51ÁÔÆæ School of Freshwater Sciences will both be hosting open house events on the 1st floor of our Great Lakes Research Facility.
