No application is required.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/undergrad-admission\/scholarships-aid\/chancellors-merit-scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chancellor&#8217;s Merit Scholarship<\/a><\/td><td>Up to $1500 annually<\/td><td>Awarded at the time of admission to 51ÁÔÆæ based on high school GPA and renewable for up to four years. No application is required.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/studentsuccess\/mke-scholars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MKE Scholars Program<\/a><\/td><td>Up to $1000 annually<\/td><td>Awarded to participants of the summer experience and year-round coaching program. Students are invited to participate during their senior year of high school.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Smart Start<\/td><td>Up to $500 for the first fall semester<\/td><td>Awarded upon completion of program requirements (math prep and coaching). Milwaukee high school students are encouraged to get involved in one or more of the following organizations to bolster their preparation for college and assist in their search for scholarships and other funding sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"uwm-c-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Program<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Funding Support<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Description<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/allinmilwaukee.org\/scholar-journey\/\">All-In Milwaukee<\/a> (AIM)<\/td><td>$2000 annually from 51ÁÔÆæ<br>Up to $3000 annually from AIM<br>First-year housing <\/td><td>Awarded to Milwaukee students with high financial need and strong academics, leadership, and service who are selected by AIM to be an AIM Scholar. Students apply to AIM by February of their senior year of high school.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/collegepossible.org\/communities\/milwaukee\/\">College Possible<\/a> (CP)<\/td><td>Varies<\/td><td>Serving students from limited-income backgrounds who are primarily first-generation college students using an individualized model of coaching and support. Students are assigned a near-peer coach, a recent college graduate, to help scholars persist and earn their degree, including support in applying for scholarships and financial aid.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Boys &amp; Girls Club (BGC)<br><a href=\"https:\/\/bgcmilwaukee.org\/programs\/graduation-plus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graduation Plus Program<\/a><\/td><td>Varies<\/td><td>Making college accessible and affordable to hard-working, low-income, first-generation students. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Federal Pell Grant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wisconsin Grant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/cost-aid\/tuition-promise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Milwaukee Tuition Promise<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligibility for these grants is determined by the individual&#8217;s Student Aid Index (<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/help-center\/answers\/article\/what-is-sai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SAI<\/a>), which is calculated when the student submits the FAFSA.
