Learn to recognize the characteristics of our native tree and shrub species necessary to identify them in the winter with naturalist Danielle Bell. Invasive woody species will also be discussed to help identify them during winter when it is best to remove them from the landscape. Participants will spend time carefully observing plants using hand lenses and an identification key for winter woody species.\u00a0 We will be both indoor and outdoor, so dress for the weather.
