Our 2026 NS Workshop is supported by a generous donation from the <a href=\"https:\/\/bogfriends.org\/about\/\">Friends of Cedarburg Bog.<\/a> The FOCB are also offering a scholarship for students taking workshops at the Saukville Field Station. This scholarship has been funded by generous donors to allow more students to participate in field classes. The workshops present college-level instruction and are designed to accommodate participants with a broad range of experience. The only prerequisite for any of the workshops is a keen interest in the topic. Enrollment varies by the topic, but is generally limited to 20, providing an informal atmosphere and individualized instruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-college-credit\">College Credit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our workshops are not being offered for college credit at this time. However, all of our classes can be taken for continuing education credits. Certificates will automatically be emailed to you upon completion of the course. There is no additional charge for continuing education credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-accommodations\">Accommodations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop fee does not include overnight accommodations. However, tent camping space on the property is available at no charge. Participants wishing to stay overnight in our Farmhouse may reserve a bed in a shared space at a cost of $20 per night. Bed space is limited so be sure to reserve early. Alternatively, the Saukville Field Station can also provide you with a list of nearby places to stay. An optional catered lunch is provided at cost for an additional charge and will include vegetarian and gluten free options. Meal plan should be ordered at the time your registration is submitted. Contact fieldstn@uwm.edu for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-in-person-workshop-schedule\">In-person workshop schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our two-day workshops run from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Friday and 8:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday, unless otherwise noted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The schedule for multi-week workshops will vary and are workshop specific.
