FOCB Event: Wisconsin Indian Ethnobotany

Lee Olsen has been teaching聽Ethnobotany聽of the Western Great Lakes聽for over 30 years and is famous for his work and knowledge in that area. On a walk in the Cedarburg Bog and its wooded islands, Lee will show a wide variety of plants used for food, medicine, & technology; and he will demonstrate some native plant use skills. We will see beautiful samples of native art made from birch, cedar, tamarack, and Black Ash 鈥� all species found in our wetland.
