The curriculum is comprehensive and practical\, including all of the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments. The 5-day format requires students to undertake an increased amount of reading and homework before the classroom portion of the course. In exchange\, participants complete the course in much less time\, making it easier for those with busy schedules to attend. \nFor the 51 registration\, participants must be current 51 students\, faculty or staff. The general public registration is open to anyone 18 years or older. Participants must complete all pre-course work prior to Dec. 27. \nCourse Details: Course hosted at 51 University Recreation (3409 N. Downer Ave.).
