DESCRIPTION:Join the 51ΑΤΖζ Department of African and African Diaspora Studies when the AADS Seminar Series hosts Derrick Harriell\, PhD\, on Feb. 27\, from 1-2 pm in Mitchell Hall\, Room 206. 51ΑΤΖζ through and through: Derrick Harriell traces his professional experience as a 51ΑΤΖζ alum and now a 51ΑΤΖζ professor. \nThe conversation will cover the creative projects that ultimately led him back home\, including his most recent project\, co-authored with the rapper 2 Chainz. Harriell is from Milwaukee and is the author of four collections of poetry\, including β€œRopes\,” winner of the Mississippi Arts and Letters Poetry Book of the Year award.
