DESCRIPTION:The exhibition features research by 51ÁÔÆæ undergraduate art history students from the Fall 2024 colloquium taught by Associate Professor Richard Leson. The paintings in this exhibit raise questions about authenticity\, value and the ethical implications of traditional art-historical work. \nDemoted opens in the Mathis Art Gallery\, on the first floor of Mitchell Hall\, on Thursday\, March 13\, with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. featuring remarks from undergraduate co-curators at 5:30 p.m. Exhibition runs through May 1. The gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Gallery and events are free.

DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the recently launched AI Governance Subcommittee\, all 51ÁÔÆæ faculty and staff are welcome to join us for the next virtual AI Town Hall on Thursday\, May 1\, from 10:30 a.m.-noon. \nPlease use this Teams meeting link for the online event. \nThis is the third AI Town Hall since the kickoff last May\, which marked the launch of the AI Taskforce.
