SUMMARY:Mathis Gallery Exhibition: Demoted
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition features research by 51ÁÔÆæ undergraduate art history students from the Fall 2024 colloquium taught by Associate Professor Richard Leson. The paintings in this exhibit raise questions about authenticity\, value and the ethical implications of traditional art-historical work. \nDemoted opens in the Mathis Art Gallery\, on the first floor of Mitchell Hall\, on Thursday\, March 13\, with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. featuring remarks from undergraduate co-curators at 5:30 p.m. Exhibition runs through May 1. The gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Gallery and events are free.

DESCRIPTION:Explore the surrounding neighborhoods near 51ÁÔÆæ in this introduction to longboarding course! We will teach you everything you need to know to be safer and have fun with this new sport. All experience levels are welcome. All equipment is provided (longboard\, helmet\, knee and elbow pads). We will start with an instructional portion at Outdoor Pursuits and then travel to the surrounding neighborhood to try out your new skills. Want to learn more about longboarding?
