SUMMARY:Mathis Gallery Exhibition: Demoted
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition features research by 51ÁÔÆæ undergraduate art history students from the Fall 2024 colloquium taught by Associate Professor Richard Leson. The paintings in this exhibit raise questions about authenticity\, value and the ethical implications of traditional art-historical work. \nDemoted opens in the Mathis Art Gallery\, on the first floor of Mitchell Hall\, on Thursday\, March 13\, with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. featuring remarks from undergraduate co-curators at 5:30 p.m. Exhibition runs through May 1. The gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Gallery and events are free.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on a bike ride to the Stone Creek Coffee Factory downtown\, a 5-mile (8 km) bike ride from campus. See where the magic happens! On the one hour tour you’ll be able to taste what they’re all about and learn about their Farm to Cup promise. Take advantage of a cafe discount and other goodies when you visit behind the scenes. Previous biking experience is required. Bike rental\, helmet and lock are included\, but you are welcome to bring your own bike or a Bublr Bike. The trip will start at Outdoor Pursuits in the Klotsche Center.
