DESCRIPTION:The exhibition features research by 51ÁÔÆæ undergraduate art history students from the Fall 2024 colloquium taught by Associate Professor Richard Leson. The paintings in this exhibit raise questions about authenticity\, value and the ethical implications of traditional art-historical work. \nDemoted opens in the Mathis Art Gallery\, on the first floor of Mitchell Hall\, on Thursday\, March 13\, with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. featuring remarks from undergraduate co-curators at 5:30 p.m. Exhibition runs through May 1. The gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Gallery and events are free.

DESCRIPTION:Trip Dates: March 15\, 7 a.m. departure — March 22\, 9:30 p.m. return to campus \nOutdoor Pursuits is visiting four of Utah’s national parks this spring break! Join us for a week of camping\, exploring and hiking Utah’s unique landscape\, featuring arches\, canyons\, geologic marvels and more. This eight-day trip includes all transportation\, equipment\, instruction\, lodging and meals. No worries if you haven’t been camping before. We will teach you everything you need to know and provide you with the essential gear. \nRegistration closes Feb. 28. This trip will have two mandatory pre-trip meetings in March with all participants and trip leaders. There is an option to place a $200 deposit at checkout – the remainder of the balance must be paid in person at Outdoor Pursuits before the trip’s departure.
