Brianna holds an MA in TESOL from Azusa Pacific University in California and a BA in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She has been working with adult English language learners from a variety of countries for several years with some experience abroad in Europe and Asia. Brianna enjoys trying new things, cooking, reading, and traveling when she has the time. Brooke has been teaching ESL and English for Academic Purposes around Milwaukee for nearly 25 years, and she loves it! Helping multilingual students improve their language and academic English skills while also building self-confidence to participate in their communities fulfills Brooke every day. Brooke received her undergraduate degree from UW-Milwaukee in French and International Relations and a Master’s of Arts in Foreign Language and Literature with an applied linguistics focus. As Academic Program Director of the English Language Academy, Brooke prioritizes student success and retention, building relationships, campus outreach, and supporting students and teaching faculty. Brooke loves to travel and has been all over the world, but she returns to France whenever she can. When she’s not teaching, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, cooking and planning her next trip.

Rosemarie has lived, studied and worked overseas for a total of five years, with extended stays in Austria and Indonesia. Her interests include creating high-interest, meaningful and engaging student activities, finding ways to nurture confident writers, integrating technology into learning, nature outings, cross-country skiing, foreign languages, art projects, Special Olympics, and Brewers baseball.

With both an MA and an MFA in creative writing, Mari believes in helping second language learners form an emotional identification with English as they learn to write it. She encourages students to use the language to discover new parts of themselves and to see the world in a new way.ÌýIn addition to building her expertise in ESL, Mari is always writing poetry and creative non-fiction
