Seven students from the 51ÁÔÆæ Foundry Lab in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering attended CastExpo 2025<\/a>, held April 12\u201315 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organized by the American Foundry Society (AFS), CastExpo is North America\u2019s largest metalcasting trade show and technical forum, featuring cutting-edge research, industry innovations, and global networking opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three graduate students presented their research to an audience of students, scholars and industry professionals during the technical sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Mehran Zare\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Undergraduate students\u00a0Alec Buhler\u00a0and\u00a0Luke Malone showcased their collaborative research with the group at the IJMC-FEF Student Research Competition, a national contest for undergraduates, in which their team placed second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
