But last year, the partnership grew to include CYCU undergraduates who come here for their final two undergraduate years. In both programs, the credits students earn are transferrable to their home institution and students receive their degrees from both institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"CYCU 2+2 Welcome Event at 51ÁÔÆæ\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6H1c1m1k2MM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s second cohort includes 17 juniors in the \u201c2+2 program\u201d in three departments: computer science, computer engineering&nbsp;and electrical engineering. There also are seven new dual master\u2019s students in the departments of electrical engineering and industrial &amp; manufacturing engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis year we\u2019re going to see stronger integration between the students who are coming from CYCU and our current students,\u201d said Dean Brett Peters. \u201cWe\u2019re also getting a lot of visibility from the companies that are looking to employ the students in internships and other opportunities.
