Avdeev, is director of innovation at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, associate professor of mechanical engineering, and affiliated faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin\u2019s Kern Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"alignleft uwm-c-img--left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"484\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/537\/2023\/03\/Mobile-clinic-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15631\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/537\/2023\/03\/Mobile-clinic-2.png 484w, https:\/\/uwm.edu\/engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/537\/2023\/03\/Mobile-clinic-2-300x244.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on this design, Froedtert &amp; the Medical College plan to roll out two 32\u2019 mobile health clinics in fall 2023 to serve the needs of Black and Latino women in Milwaukee\u2019s northwest and south neighborhoods. Services would include mammography, colon cancer screenings, well-baby checks, and management of chronic conditions including asthma, diabetes and obesity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/adf622bd601\/6b74335c-6079-4154-a9e7-729c46e1de04.pdf?rdr=true\">In this article published by the Kern Institute<\/a>, Avdeev details the process of designing the clinic using a human-centered approach, which involved more than 100 faculty members and students from 51ÁÔÆæ, community leaders, patients, and clinical and operational staff from Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the request of Froedtert &amp;
