Interested in learning how our Master\u2019s in Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education (ACHEA) can help you transition into this dynamic field?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Join us for an engaging <strong>Alumni Panel on Careers in Instructional Design and Learning Development<\/strong>, where you\u2019ll hear directly from graduates who have successfully moved into instructional design and learning development roles in higher education and corporate settings. Some of our alumni began their journeys as K-12 teachers or professionals from other fields and have since built rewarding careers designing impactful learning experiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, April 9, 2025 | 5:00 &#8211; 6:00 pm<\/strong><br \/>\nOnline via Zoom &#8211; Session link will be provided after registration.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"uwm-c-button\" href=\"https:\/\/wisconsin-edu.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJwvfuGhqTMrHtEW9uoqz0Les252TAs9KumB#\/registration\">Register to attend the Alumni Panel<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Panelist include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jenna Feely<\/strong>, North America Design Lead at Smurfit Westrock<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nick Koppa<\/strong>, Learning Enablement Specialist at Rockwell Automation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Katie Larson<\/strong>, Training Consultant and Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Facilitator:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jen Filz<\/strong>, Ph.D., Instructional Design Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Instructor, ACHEA Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>What is instructional design?<\/strong><br \/>\nInstructional designers develop, implement, and enhance learning experiences by applying principles of adult learning, educational technology, and curriculum design. They create engaging training programs, online courses, and instructional materials for universities, corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our alumni have secured instructional design positions at organizations such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher Education: University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Worsham College of Mortuary Science, University of Wisconsin Extended Campus<\/li>\n<li>Corporate &amp; Industry: Milwaukee Tool, Rockwell Automation, Molson Coors, Harley Davidson, Equus Workforce Solutions, WestRock, Kohl\u2019s Department Stores, Wendy\u2019s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>During the panel, our alumni will share:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Their career paths and how the master\u2019s program prepared them for instructional design roles<\/li>\n<li>Key skills employers seek in instructional designers<\/li>\n<li>Advice for making a successful career transition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to connect, ask questions, and explore how instructional design could be the next step in your professional journey.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to seeing you there!<br \/>\nIf you can&#8217;t make it to the session and would like to learn more about the MS in Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education Administration, please feel free to reach out with questions or for more information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dante J.
