(PPEE)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students accepted into the community education child care program are eligible to earn credit for their professional\/life experience by demonstrating their competency through essay examinations (PPEE). Students can earn <strong>up to 42 lower-division elective credits<\/strong> for prior professional experience that may be used toward the Community Engagement and Education degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-transfer-your-wisconsin-registry-credentials\">Transfer Your Wisconsin Registry Credentials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The community education child care sub major is acknowledged by the <a href=\"https:\/\/wiregistry.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wisconsin Child Care Registry<\/a> as a \u201crelated\u201d degree for professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18 credits of WI Registry child care credits are required to fulfill the community education child care sub major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students must complete the \u201cFoundational\u201d or \u201cAdministrative\u201d credential developed and overseen by the Wisconsin Registry.
