Teacher?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A World Language teacher is a trained individual (who is fluent in the target language and culture) who can bring the world into a classroom!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>World Language teachers plan for classroom environments that provide students the opportunity to develop proficiency and love, appreciation and fluency for languages and cultures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A World Language teacher works with students of all ages to develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English in the target language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a World Language teacher, you will join a network of teachers who are committed to global citizenship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-pk-12-world-language-certification\">Why PK-12 World Language Certification?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning a World Language can help students to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul Grammar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biliteracy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theories of language acquisition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Politics of language acquisition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teaching strategies to support reading, writing, speaking and listening in the target language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The inclusion of culture as the basis for language acquisition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teaching methods to encourage oral proficiency
