Students admitted into the Urban Education Doctoral Program (UEDP) are eligible to compete for a variety of types of financial aid. Applicants are also eligible to apply, pending acceptance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduate Assistantships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GA positions in the School of Education are limited and competitive. Positions vary greatly and candidates are typically chosen based on their experiences and qualifications as they relate to individual positions. Applications are solicited as positions become available. All graduate assistantships provide a stipend. Appointments of 33% (12-15 hours per week) or higher include tuition remission and some benefits. Graduate School Fellowships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

UEDP students are also eligible to apply for Graduate School Fellowships. These fellowships provide recipients with a monthly stipend for the academic year, coverage of in-state tuition and remission of out-of-state tuition. Graduate Student Travel Award<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Graduate School Travel Support program offers partial funding to doctoral students for presenting scholarly and creative works at conferences, performances, or exhibitions. Such activities are an important part of the professional development of graduate students, offering opportunities to establish professional networks, contacts for collaborative research, and sources of potential future employment. Funding & Scholarships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Graduate School Financial Support<\/a> webpage highlights funding options and opportunities that are available for graduate students. The OneStop Tuition & Fees<\/a> webpage lists the Graduate Fee Schedule for a given semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
