It serves as the review and monitoring organization as defined by the legislation.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/education\/community-engagement\/council-on-professional-education\/\">Council on Professional Education<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The Council on Professional Education is the development and coordinating body of the Comprehensive Assessment System for 51ÁÔÆæ programs leading to Wisconsin licensure in the areas of teacher education, administration and pupil services.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/education\/community-engagement\/institute-for-urban-education\/\">Institute for Urban Education<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The Institute for Urban Education (IUE) provides urban education opportunities for preservice teachers, in-service teachers and scholars. The IUE is a University of Wisconsin System program housed at UW-Milwaukee.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/education\/community-engagement\/professional-development\/\">Professional Development<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The School of Education connects students to a range of professional development opportunities. These include courses in reading, mathematics, test prep and cultural sensitivity.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/education\/students\/writing-project\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Writing Project<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The 51ÁÔÆæ Writing Project is an affiliate of the National Writing Project.
