{"id":5771,"date":"2023-05-10T09:53:59","date_gmt":"2023-05-10T14:53:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/education\/?page_id=5771"},"modified":"2026-04-01T11:18:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T16:18:57","slug":"womens-giving-circle","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/education\/about\/womens-giving-circle\/","title":{"rendered":"Women\u2019s Giving Circle"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"uwm-u-py-80\"><div class=\"uwm-l-container--base uwm-l-container--overflow-hidden\">\n<div class=\"uwm-l-row\">\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col\"><header class=\"page-header\"><h1 class=\"entry-title heading-separator\">Women\u2019s Giving Circle<\/h1><\/header>\n\n\n<p><em>Members of the Women\u2019s Giving Circle (from left to right) Joanne Neusen, Karleen Haberichter, Emily Robertson, Diane Thieme, and Mary Domer<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Women\u2019s Giving Circle of the 51ÁÔÆæ School of Education was founded in 2006 \u201cto bring together women alumni and former and current teachers of all ages who pool their gifts for greater impact and keep themselves current about education through their promotion of the School and its educational research.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Historically, annual gifts of $1,000&nbsp;or more&nbsp;have been contributed by each WGC&nbsp;Executive Committee&nbsp;member. We joyfully accept gifts of less than $1,000. Gifts can also be fulfilled with payments throughout the year.
