His broad research interests included the importance of spatial aspects of markets, economic development, discrimination, the economics of education and the interaction of politics and economics. As a retiring Chair, Sunny&#8217;s photo was added in the conference room to those of other Chairs who retired before him. He will be greatly missed by all who know him.
