From these pages, you can find general information about graduate programs at 51ÁÔÆæ as well as request information about graduate education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Graduate School is the primary contact for applying to the graduate programs at 51ÁÔÆæ. The pages will direct you to the proper links for further information and the application procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a0\">Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>UW-Milwaukee has implemented an on-line application procedure for admission into graduate programs. By following the link, you will be directed to the Graduate School&#8217;s website where you can fill out the application for graduate study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list uwm-c-link--external\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.uwm.edu\/register\/?id=442d088c-4d8a-4572-be4e-00a5267ed73b\">UW-Milwaukee Graduate School Online Application Form<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-admissions-requirements\">Admissions Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants to the master&#8217;s program must have an undergraduate major in economics and one semester of calculus OR economics coursework at the undergraduate level equivalent to two semesters of intermediate economic theory, one semester of statistics, and one semester of calculus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants to the doctoral program must have an undergraduate major in economics and one semester of calculus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; OR economics coursework at the undergraduate level equivalent to two semesters of intermediate economic theory, one semester of statistics, and one semester of calculus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; OR a master&#8217;s degree in economics with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both master&#8217;s applicants and doctoral applicants will need two letters of recommendations from individuals familiar with their academic work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a1\">Information for International Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many of our students come from countries other than the United States which adds to the diversity and vitality of our graduate program. However, there are special considerations for international students applying for graduate work, primarily issues regarding immigration and English proficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Center for International Education international admissions site contains information regarding these and other issues relevant to the application of international graduate students.
