They are located in the new Chemistry Building and Kenwood Interdisciplinary Research Complex and are supported by MIDD members and staff that have expertise in these specific research areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"has-alpha-channel-opacity uwm-c-hr--thick\" \/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card-grid uwm-l-grid uwm-l-grid--equal-y uwm-l-grid--4\">\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--color-head\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/drug-discovery\/laboratories\/laboratory-for-high-throughput-screening-and-early-drug-discovery\/\">Drug Discovery<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The facility supports your drug discovery project using high throughput screening and virtual screening to identify new hit and lead compounds for your specific target.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--color-head\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/drug-discovery\/laboratories\/laboratory-for-custom-synthesis-and-lead-development\/\">Synthesis<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The laboratory offers the synthesis of specific molecules, metabolites and libraries of compounds for your needs. <\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--color-head\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/drug-discovery\/laboratories\/laboratory-for-protein-structural-biology-and-enzyme-kinetic-support\/\">Structural Biology<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The facility supports protein production, X-ray crystallography, and the development of enzyme and protein assays. <\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--color-head\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/drug-discovery\/laboratories\/laboratory-for-large-scale-organic-synthesis\/\">Large Scale Synthesis<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The laboratory offers scale up development and manufacturing of kilo-gram scale research materials.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--color-head\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.uwm.edu\/sailarc\/\">SAILARC<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">This facility supports all your mass spectrometry research needs housing one of the largest numbers of mass spectrometers in Milwaukee. We offer self and full services for a wide range of analyte ranging from metal ions, small molecules to proteins. <\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--color-head\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/drug-discovery\/laboratories\/laboratory-for-compound-safety\/\">Pharmacokinetics<br>Pharmacodynamics<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">This facility supports all your drug candidate PK\/PD needs.
