Flex Dining<\/strong> is a smart and convenient option available to all<\/strong> 51ÁÔÆæ students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Flex Dining utilizes Dining Dollars to make purchases at on-campus food outlets<\/a>, restaurants, Grind coffee shops, and Taste MKE locations<\/a>.\u00b9 By using Dining Dollars, students receive tax-free purchases and a 5% discount, for a total savings of 13.4% (at on-campus locations only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Residential students already have Flex Dining included in their meal plan. Non-residential students can activate their account by adding as little as $150 through the 51ÁÔÆæ GET Mobile App<\/a>. The full value of their deposit will be credited as spendable dollars into their account. Dining Dollars can be added in any amount over $10.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students can check their Dining Dollar balance on the 51ÁÔÆæ GET Mobile App or webpage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dining Dollars can be used by swiping your Panther Card ID or scanning the barcode in the 51ÁÔÆæ GET Mobile App. The App is optional\u2014you do not need it to use Dining Dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dining Dollars can only be used for food and non-alcoholic beverage purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00b9 Flex\/Dining Dollar accounts are already active on all Residential Dining Plans. Food and non-alcoholic beverages bought by students from a University of Wisconsin \u2013 Milwaukee food outlet(s) are eligible for exemption from WI\/Milwaukee sales tax (rate as of August\/2026).
