Refreshments will be served. Kaleka and former white supremacist Arno Michaelis have co-authored a book entitled <em>The Gift of Our Wounds<\/em>. Kaleka has also founded Serve 2 Unite, an organization that brings together young people from different religious and cultural backgrounds. Half waking dream and half fiery polemic, <em>The Garden<\/em> was born of director Jarman\u2019s rage over continued anti-gay discrimination and the sluggardly response to the AIDS crisis\u2014he had been diagnosed HIV positive in 1988. This year, they are especially interested in making the conference accessible and interesting for students.
