Our\u00a0<strong>White Paper Series<\/strong>\u00a0represents the culmination of deep collaboration between CSI researchers, faculty, and our industry partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These documents go beyond standard case studies. They provide technical deep dives, data-driven analysis, and actionable roadmaps for implementing Industry 4.0 technologies. Whether exploring cloud architecture, digital twins, or AI-driven manufacturing, our white papers serve as a resource for organizations looking to modernize their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card-grid uwm-l-grid uwm-l-grid--equal-y uwm-l-grid--2\">\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\">Private 5G in Manufacturing<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--subtitle\"><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">This use case highlights the modernization of a manufacturing line by migrating from a traditional network architecture to Private 5G. Marking the first deployment of its kind in North America, this project was executed in partnership with UScellular and Ericsson.<br>The migration was led by Connected Systems Institute students Asif Al Zubayer Swapnil and Shamar Webster, who successfully converted the network and demonstrated the solution at the &#8216;5G Day&#8217; event hosted by UScellular and Ericsson.<\/div><a class=\"uwm-p-card--link\" href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/csi\/members\/white-papers\/private-5g-in-manufacturing\/\">Private 5G in Manufacturing \u2013 Connected Systems Institute<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\">Computer Vision AI in Manufacturing<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--subtitle\"><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">This project details the integration of AI computer vision into the Connected Systems Institute\u2019s manufacturing line to enhance quality control.
